12:15pm – 12:45pm: Mindful Meditation:
Press your inner pause button for this lunchtime guided meditation designed to calm the mind and reenergise your day with some short, seated practices. With Victoria John, mindfulness teacher and actor. Having struggled with anxiety Victoria found meditation a transformative tool and now shares these practices and tools with others.
For those who have never tried mindfulness and those who want to do more.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Drawing with Nature
Join artist Shelly Wain for this walk and draw workshop inspired by nature in the city. Explore mark making techniques using natural objects including twigs, leaves and feathers.This workshop will start in the library and then go outdoors to sketch before returning to the library.
Art materials provided. Bring your own sketchbook if you prefer.
