We are inviting you to join us to come together as a community of creative minds and participate in a range of arts activities.
With in person events now allowed to take place again, we are to be able to provide a LIVE Dragon Cafe which includes our much loved core session and a special event! All of the events below will be taking place at Draper Hall on Monday 6th June.(Address Details Below)
There is no need to book, just come along and join us!
Timetable for Monday 6th June
11:00pm: Doors Open - Come and relax, catchup, chat, have a drink and a bite to eat
11:00am - 12:30am: Southwark Wellbeing Hub Drop-in
The Southwark Wellbeing Hub is delighted to work in Partnership with Mental Fight Club. It’s a chance for anyone to talk to 1-1 with a Community Support Worker about an issue or challenge they’re facing and get some advice about services and opportunities who can help. We will be using a confidential space at Draper Hall and seeing people on an impromptu basis. If you’re looking for support, come and talk to us.
The Southwark Wellbeing Hub provides information and support to anyone in Southwark who would like to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The Hub’s services are free and open to anyone who lives in Southwark or is registered with a Southwark GP.
12:30pm – 2:30pm: Wordsmiths Creative writing
In this fun workshop, attendees are guided through structured writing activities and games to enable them to create and share a mixture of fictional and true stories based on their own experiences
3:00pm - 4:00pm: The Dragon Café Singing Group
The Dragon Café Singing group will be meeting for a live session on Monday, where we will be raising our voices together in song as well as starting to work collaboratively on writing a very special song to celebrate the Dragon Cafe's 10 year anniversary which is happening later this year.
Come along and join in, everyone is welcome.
4:15pm – 5:15pm - Ariella & Renzo Danceworks
Dearest Dragons, this coming Monday the Dragon Cafe and Danceworks will be 'live' again!!!! Let's dance, move, shake, stretch and tone to the fantastic sounds and rhythms reaching us from all over the globe in the uplifting and joyful company of fellow dragons! All are welcome and no dance experience needed....musica maestro!!!
