12:45pm – 2:30pm: Singing Group

In this session participants are invited to come together in celebration of the positive impact of singing and the voice. This session facilitated by our singing lead Vivien Ellis will be an energy filled journey through a mix of singing and vocal styles. From sea shanties to old English chants, choral favourites written by the singing group and some improvised rounds and soundscapes. There is something in this session for everyone.

3pm – 4:30pm: Poetry with Angie Smith

We are very happy to welcome back Professor Angie Smith who will be delivering this special extended 90-minute session dedicated to the art of poetic voice and form. We will explore unusual and accessible poetry forms and then apply these concepts to the shaping of our own written work.

Angie Smith is the Founder of Creativity Unleashed, a not-for-profit charity that publishes the voices of young people, a Professor of English at Russell Sage College and an online creative writing teacher.

5pm – 6pm: Yoga inspired Stretch with Anja Nikodem

Stretch away some of the stresses and tension we may feel at the start of another week. Put the week ahead out of mind as we stretch our backs, necks and shoulders with Anja Nikodem. This session is designed to stretch those tense muscles, boost energy and reenergise you. Come in your usual clothes. No experience necessary.
