2:30pm – 4:30pm: Poems and Sketches - A Creative Stroll with Artist Samuel Mead
Join visual artist Samuel Mead as we take a creative stroll around the local streets and wild spaces, gathering found arts materials and inspiration to create free flowing poems and sketches. Samuel will guide us through the exploration of a range of styles and materials.
With a focus on the embodied sensory and emotional experience of mark making, communal creativity and the environment itself, this session is less about creating masterpieces and more about mastering our ability to enter the creative flow state whenever we choose.
4:45pm – 5:30pm: Gentle stretch with Anja Nikodem
Stretch way some of the stresses and tension we may feel at the start of another week. Put the week ahead out of mind as we stretch our backs, necks and shoulders with Anja Nikodem. This session is designed to stretch those tense muscles, boost energy and reenergise you. Come in your usual clothes. No experience necessary.
5:40pm - 6:40pm: Singing Group
Join us for a vibrant vocal session led by Vivien Ellis, celebrating the joy of singing. We'll explore various musical styles including sea shanties, old English chants, choral pieces created by our group, and some improvised rounds and soundscapes. There's something for everyone!
