Monday 27th July
We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Dragon Café Summer Picnic on Monday, 27th July.
At Regent’s Park
The Dragon Café invite patrons to come together on Monday 27th July to join us for an annual creative activities picnic before we take a break for the month of August.
The picnic this year will be held in Regent’s Park and will give all patrons a chance to be together, have some fun, and celebrate this special creative community.
We welcome all Dragon Café patrons, both old and new, who wish to attend.
Please remember to bring your own food and drink with you, as this will not be provided (please note this is an alcohol-free event). There will be time during the schedule for everyone to sit and enjoy good food and even better, the company.
If possible, please do not bring any single-use plastics and be prepared to take any rubbish home with you. We want to be as respectful to the environment as we possibly can be. So, bring your own cups, water bottles, cutlery, etc.
Please remember to bring appropriate clothing for the weather on the day and something to sit on (blanket, roll mat, etc). Feel free to come for as much or as little time as you want. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
1pm: A member of the Mental Fight Club team will be waiting outside Regent’s Park tube station from 1pm and will be there to meet patrons and walk into the park together. We will be leaving the station at 1:15pm.
The assembly point in the park is the entrance (see the map below).
1.45pm: This time is set aside for Patrons to connect, chat, and catch up.
2.45pm: The Dragon Café singing Group: (40min) Vivien Ellis will lead the group in songs and rounds of celebration and summer. You don’t need to have attended the singing group previously to join in, everybody is welcome.
3:45pm: Summer Stretch: (40min) Join Qigong practitioner Anthony Fiddler for some Tai – Chi in the Park.
4:30pm – 5pm: More time for Dragon Café Patrons to spend time together and bring this event to a close.
