12:30pm – 1:30pm: Introduction To Mindfulness
A 1 hour session Introduction to Mindfulness Practices. We will look at what Mindfulness is, how to use it in a helpful way in our everyday lives as well as the experience of some short sitting practices. This is a really informal session for those who are interested but, perhaps have never tried Mindfulness or for those who have had a go but would like to do some more! Come along!
Victoria John is a Mindfulness and Compassion Teacher and Actor, Having struggled with anxiety for a number of years, found Meditation a transformative tool and loves the opportunity to share these practices and tools with others.
Please bring a piece of dried fruit (eg Raisin) with you for the session or a small piece of fruit. (Grape, Slice of banana)
2:30pm – 3:30pm: Cartoon Diary
Simple drawing is a great way to express yourself. Join illustrator and writer Richy K. Chandler who will show you how.
Have sheets of paper or a sketch book, pens & pencils at the ready to join in
