The Dragon Café Online Workshops

The Dragon Café is inviting you to join us on Monday 10th January to come together as a community of creative minds and participate in a range of online arts activities.

1:00pm - 2:00pm: The Dragon Café Singing Group - On Monday we'll sing uplifting and heart-warming chants and rounds, and some of our own compositions. The group will open at 12:45pm for a warm chat before the singing begins. Everyone is warmly welcome!

3:00pm - 4:00pm: New Year, New You? Diets, resolutions and healthy habits - Mark Bishop is a nutritionist who is joining us to explore why fad diets don’t work and often result in yoyoing. Everyone is an individual and should be treated as such. This session will look at how changing diet isn’t enough and that lifestyle, sleep and stress management are just as important.
you can see more about Mark at his Website - East Devon Nutrition - Nutrition, Nutritionist, Nutritional Therapy

5:00pm - 6:00pm: Ariella & Renzo Danceworks - Dear Dragoniers, the cold is coming and it feels good to keep warm and strong, so what are we waiting for?....let's 'Git Up' dance to swaying, uplifting and catchy rhythms and songs!
No dance experience needed, we can adapt the moves to the way we feel and it is fine if we prefer to have our camera off. Song requests are always welcome and...musica maestro!

6:00pm - 7:00pm: Ariella & Renzo Shareworks - This Monday's session will feature Art, Music and Literature for everyone. Created by Patrons for all Patrons, this enriching, safe and bonding open space is a great way to relax, catch our breath after dance and connect.

Elvis Presley was born on 8th January and was inspired by African blues and gospel music to create his unique vocal and performance style; while a few decades earlier, American expatriate John Singer Sargent (12th) had been making a living by creating portraits of the rich and famous...until he eventually grew tired of them and moved to the country!....and even before that, in Wonderland, Alice was meeting a number of interesting characters and feeling very much at home in their company!

Shareworks will carry on directly after Danceworks on the same Zoom link.
