On Wednesday 19th November MFC brings you the Dragon Café in the City project in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London.
Calm. Create. Community…
1pm (60 mins): Paper Shoes
Make a paper pointe shoe, then fill with pot puree. It makes a special gift for a friend or keep for yourself to decorate your home.
Materials provided. With artist Reza Ben Gajra.

2.30pm (70 mins): Relax & Create: Drop In
Drop in for this self-led sociable session. Mindful drawing. Read a newspaper or have a game of chess.
In person at Shoe Lane Library. No booking needed.
4pm (60 mins): Creative Writing
Join Naomi, Wordsmiths for this pressure-free supportive workshop. Focus on short writing tasks and imaginative free writing. The goal is enjoyment.

5.15pm (30 mins): Breathing Space Meditation
Pause your day with Meditation. Learn techniques to help bring a sense of peace and harmony into your life. With experienced practitioner Shweta O’Shea. Beginners and those with experience all welcome.

6pm (60 mins): Gong Sound Bath
Soak in the relaxing, sonorous sounds of large gongs, singing bowls & soft percussion to soothe away tensions of the day and calm the mind. Led by Cathy Eastburn, Sound Therapist & Gong Player. Wear warm, comfy clothes to lie down or sit to bathe in sonorous sound.
