Join us as we spend the day getting creative with our special workshops!
12:15pm: Doors open:
Come on and join us for light refreshments, hot and cold drinks and healthy snacks available.
12:30pm - 2pm: Creative Writing with Wordsmiths
In this fun workshop, attendees are guided through structured writing activities and games to enable them to create and share a mixture of fictional and true stories based on their own experiences.
The group setting allows each person to firstly build confidence by sharing work that they have created from nothing, and secondly to build empathy towards other people in their community by hearing their stories in their words. The goal is to enable a creative way to communicate and to understand thoughts and ideas whilst having fun.
2pm: Food served:
Balanced Bites to Refuel At The Dragon Cafe
Expect lots of fresh and healthy options, including an assortment of salads, fruit, fresh breads, olives, finger foods, and much more.
2:45pm – 4:15pm: Singing Group with Vivien Ellis and Guests Electric Voice theatre.
From sea shanties to old English chants, choral favourites written by the singing group and some improvised rounds and soundscapes. We will also be rehearsing along with The Electric Voice Theatre for the Dragon Cafes upcoming performance at Conway Hall as part of the Carols By Candlelight Concert.
There is something in this session for everyone.

4:30pm – 6pm: An Ecstatic and Open Floor Dance Session led by Flomotion Dance
Move how you want in this Flomotion dance session.
You’ll tune into your body and breath, and just follow whatever movements feel good, there’s no right or wrong way to dance, and you don’t need any experience.
The whole vibe is about letting go of self-judgement and just enjoying the freedom of moving in your own way.
Julia Franks, our facilitator, brings the energy with fresh playlists and invites everyone into a relaxed, joyful space where you can switch off your inner critic and just have fun
