Drawing Breath: Restore. Mend. Observe…
12:15pm (30 mins): DIY Massage
Focus on yourself and learn how to soothe those aches & pains. With sports massage therapist Leonie Lawson.
In person at Shoe Lane Library and via Zoom.
1pm (75mins): Visible Darning
Learn how to give new life to tattered knitwear with traditional visible darning techniques. Bring your own damaged out socks, jumper or other knitwear. Suitable for beginners.
In person at Shoe Lane Library.
2:30pm (60mins): Relax & Create: Drop in
Stay on or drop in for this self-led sociable afternoon, with origami & Lego. Materials provided.
5pm (45mins): Qi Gong
Restorative, relaxing sessions with therapist & teacher Aitan Gardoni. This ancient practice combines gentle movement, mindful breathing, and meditation to improve your circulation & boost energy. No experience needed. 1st of 3 sessions.
In person at Shoe Lane Library.
6pm (60mins): Drawing Breath
Join artist Vanessa Lawrence to make swift sketches & longer drawings of a clothed model. No experience needed for this relaxed session. Top tips and art materials provided.
