2:30pm – 4:30pm: Creative stroll with Constança Saturnino
Join visual artist Constança Saturnino as we take a creative stroll around the local streets and wild spaces, gathering found arts materials and inspiration to create free-flowing sketches. She will guide us through the exploration of a range of styles and materials.
In this workshop, Constança invites you to step into a playful collaboration with the natural world, experimenting, exploring, and allowing creativity to grow from what surrounds us.
Get to know Constança Saturnino
Constança is an interdisciplinary artist, choreographer, dancer, and handpoke tattooist born in Lisbon and currently based in London. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Contemporary Dance in 2020, where her passion for visual arts and movement led her to develop a methodology that unites these mediums. By weaving her drawing and movement practices with explorations of earthen and organic materials, Constança creates deeply personal and tactile works that reflect her complex relationship with nature and self.
4:45pm – 5:30pm Gentle Stretch with Anja Nikodem
Stretch away some of the stresses and tension we may feel at the start of another week. Put the week ahead out of mind as we stretch our backs, necks and shoulders with Anja Nikodem. This session is designed to stretch those tense muscles, boost energy and reenergise you. Come in your usual clothes. No experience necessary.
5:35pm – 6:35pm: Singing Group
In this session, participants are invited to come together in celebration of the positive impact of singing and the voice. From sea shanties to old English chants, choral favourites written by the singing group and some improvised rounds and soundscapes. There is something in this session for everyone.
