2:30pm - 3:30pm: Stress Reduction and Laughter Workshop with Patricia Byrne

3:45pm – 5:15pm: An Ecstatic and Open Floor Dance Session led by Flomotion Dance

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Singing Group

Come on and join us for light refreshments, hot and cold drinks and healthy snacks available.

12:30pm – 2pm: Poetry with Emma McGordon

We are extremely happy to welcome back Emma McGordon to the Dragon Café for another of her poetry sessions. Emma’s use of free writing and poetic form makes this an ideal workshop for everyone, from beginners with no experience of writing poetry to seasoned writers.

2pm: Food Served - Balanced Bites to Refuel At The Dragon Café

Expect lots of fresh and healthy options, including an assortment of salads, fruit, fresh breads, olives, finger foods, and much more.

2:30pm - 3:30pm: Stress Reduction and Laughter Workshop with Patricia Byrne

Well-being session to help you reset your brain and your body. Exploring well-being tools such as breathwork, laughter & emotional freedom technique. You will learn simple, quick ways that you can help yourself feel better!

3:45pm – 5:15pm: An Ecstatic and Open Floor Dance Session led by Flomotion Dance

Tune into your body and breath, and just follow whatever movements feel good, there’s no right or wrong way to dance, and you don’t need any experience.

Julia Franks, our facilitator, brings the energy with fresh playlists and invites everyone into a relaxed, joyful space where you can switch off your inner critic and just have fun.

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Singing Group

In this session, participants are invited to come together in celebration of the positive impact of singing and the voice. From sea shanties to old English chants, choral favourites written by the singing group and some improvised rounds and soundscapes. There is something in this session for everyone.

  • Nearest stations are Elephant & Castle (Northern & Bakerloo lines) or Kennington (Northern line). Both are about a 15–20 minute walk.

By Bus:

  • Routes 343, 136, 42, 68, 468, 171, 176, 188, 360, 453 all stop nearby.

  • Get off at Albany Road / Bagshot Street or Walworth Road / East Street and it’s a short walk.

By Train:

  • The nearest stations are Elephant & Castle or Denmark Hill, both a short bus ride away.

Please note there is no on-site parking at this venue.
