The Joys of a Child

As we expand and broaden the events that Mental Fight Club offer, we are proud to be supporting the practice of artists with lived experience up and down the country. 

Jason Brownlee is a Plymouth based artist who is working with us to produce this exhibition ‘The Joys of a Child’.

This exhibition is a series of paintings both abstract and figurative abstract with an audio recorded poem that allows you the audience to investigate the mind of the artist. Created from a phenological perspective my own, these paintings are my interpretation of the world around me gained from experiences of the environment in which I live, and in return this creates knowledge that is unique to me.

Exhibition Information:

The Exhibition is being held on the Monday 28th of March from 6:30pm - 10pm for a Launch event with drinks and food. Then on the Tuesday 29th is open to the general public from 10am - 10pm.
